The Seven Galleries of the National Science Centre

Established in 1992, the National Science Center is found in Delhi, India standing next to Pragati Maidan’s Gate 1 with great views of the Purana Qila, the inner citadel of the city of Dina-panah. The Science Center of New Delhi is the northern zonal headquarters of the National Council of Science Museums of NCSM, which was one of the three museums, inspired by the vision of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Ray who the primary Chief Minister of West Bengal. Building these museums was then encouraged by Jawaharlal Nehru, the earliest prime minister of India.

Immerse in the Beauty of Safdarjung Tomb

The people of India have high respects for the afterlife. Such value and reverence are evident in the beautiful tombs that have stood the test of time. Such beauties can then be found in the many mausoleums of India.  The Safdarjung Tomb in particular is a grand architectural structure built in Mughal style on a garden with lush greens separated by pathways set in rectangular patterns.  It is said to be the ‘the last flicker in the lamp of Mughal architecture’. Today, it is hard to find architecture similar in nature after the collapse of the empire.

The Historic Sai Baba Temple

The Sai Baba Temple is named after a popular Indian saint, Shirdi Sai Baba.  Sai Baba was regarded as a famous yogi and guru in India.  Many Muslim and Hindu devotees believe that he was Lord Krishna’s incarnation.  Others regard him as the incarnation of Dattatreya.  Based on public records, there was no information found regarding his birth but his death was dated on October 15, 1918.
