The establishment of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority has had a great impact on the promotion of culture and arts of the city. With Korea being an international gateway through the Incheon International Airport, the city is now becoming a premium global hub of the Northeast Asian region. Incheon locals then have high expectations towards the city’s arts center in trying to satisfy the diverse cultural desires of the country. Because of such expectations, the Incheon Culture and Arts Center aims to significantly improve the quality of all their city arts companies by proving diverse and superb arts performances that will truly move the audience. In addition, not only will such aims provide an appreciation for the culture and arts of Korea but they will also enrich the cultural knowledge of the citizens. From there, a sense of love and pride towards the country can then be bestowed upon the next generation.
