The Cliffhouse is a cluster of restaurants found along the Aguinaldo Highway of Tagaytay City. With a spectacular view deck overlooking the Taal Volcano and Taal Lake, this breath of fresh ambiance makes it the perfect place to just chill and take in the vast landscapes of its magnificent surroundings.

The Cliffhouse in Tagaytay
The Cliffhouse in Tagaytay – Philippines

The architectural design of the Cliffhouse seems to be reminiscent of old American houses polished in white and cream hues. As if the great view provided by the Taal Volcano and Lake is not enough, its refreshing façade is as spectacular to gaze upon especially during night time. Preserved old trees that were used in the development of the land serve as the area’s centerpieces that add to its even more charismatic ambiance. The entire venue exudes romance with lanterns and flowers that light up the pathway that eventually opens up into a charming little courtyard.

A step into this fancy and delightful place certainly provides an uplifting and heart-warming aura.

Buon Giorno that serves Italian food and the Fire Lake Grill Steakhouse is said to be the most popular restaurants in the area. A long queue usually fills up its entrances may it be during the busy lunch hours or during afternoon delights. Café Breton is also a popular favorite to address those people with are in need of a healthy dose of chocolate when up in Tagaytay.

The Fire Lake Grill by Chef Paul Huang, My Philippines, which is a pinoy souvenir shop, Café Breton, Fruits in Ice Cream and the increasingly popular Mochiko are both found on the left side of Cliffhouse. The right side comprises of the famous Buon Giorno, a pastry shop named Papa Vinz Pastries, and an art gallery called Domicillo. Although with only a few options to choose from, one look at the breathtaking view of the vast, serene and tranquil Taal landscape compensates for it all.

The Cliffhouse also provides accommodations at an elegant inn called The Inn. Tucked away inside the complex, The Inn offers the most refined and chic luxury accommodations in Tagaytay with bright and spacious suites, private terraces and outdoor Jacuzzis. If its facilities and amenities are not enough to satisfy you, all rooms have a sweeping view of the majestic Taal landscape, its surrounding lake and an even more vast forest reserve. Undoubtedly, guests will be wrapped in the ultimate form of comfort and luxury at The Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay.

The Cliffhouse is located along the restaurant strip of the Aguinaldo Highway right beside Yellow Cab and way before reaching the fork road of Petron Gas Station.

Turn right from the Tagaytay Rotunda and keep your eyes open for its simple signage on the left side of the road. No entrance fees are charged but parking is at 100 pesos per hour. The fee is fortunately waived once you present a receipt from any of its establishments.

Add the cool atmosphere of Tagaytay, the magnificent view of the Taal volcano, sumptuous dishes and desserts and an ambiance like no other: a visit to the Cliffhouse in Tagaytay doesn’t get any better than this.
