Shin Kong Mitsukoshi is Taiwan’s leading department store chain. It has branches in the city’s major shopping and transportation areas. Like other department stores in Taiwan, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi has stores and boutiques carrying major international brands like Gucci, Chanel, and Dior. The New Life Square, owned by Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and found in Xinyi District, is made up of several shopping malls interconnected by footbridges.
