At the beach, you will likely see sunbathers from across the world lying on the beach sand only a few distances from the water. One of the famous Eilat beaches is the Eilat Princess Beach, the last beach before Sinai.
Located on the Tabba border, it specifically lies where the neighboring kingdoms of Jordan and Saudi Arabia borders meet and Egypt is only a hundred yards down to the south. This beautiful and well-maintained stretch of southern coast is in front of the luxurious Princess Hotel. Also known as Princess Hotel Beach, it is a quaint, peaceful coast reminiscent of the beaches that are secluded and have not yet been touched.
The entrance going to the beach is marked with ropes with floating buoys, as it is part of the Coral Beach strip that is also part of the Nature Reserve. Eilat Princess Beach is very clean and quiet, perfect for diving and snorkeling. It has two pleasant bathing bridge that allow easy access for snorkeling on deeper water and assure you that you won’t accidentally get pricked by sea urchins. It also serves as a docking jetty for boats and yachts. The bridge located near the Princess Hotel is situated where the Arava and Sinai Deserts meet the blue waters of the Red Sea.
Located on the coral reef reserve, the beach is an ideal place to do your next special diving experience in the Red Sea, where lies some of the most majestic coral reefs in the world, with deep canyons, mazes, bays and the abundant fishes swimming over the coral, making it an world-renowned diving site.
This beach is usually not so crowded, hence an ideal spot for relaxation, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surrounding is tranquil, with pleasant ambient music in the background all throughout the day. Under the bridge, you will see colorful and unique fishes and the coral reef. Since the water is very clear, you generally do not need to dive deep into the water just to witness the underwater life, so scuba diving equipment is not necessary.
In front of the beach is the luxurious Princess Hotel. This is one of the major resort hotels in Eilat surrounded by magnificent natural wonders. On one side is the panoramic view of the coral reefs of the Red Sea while on the other side is the rocky landscape of Edom Mountains.
There is a beachside restaurant, restrooms and showers in Eilat Princess Beach. You can rent beach chairs, parasols and sun beds as well as snorkeling equipment for a low price. The beach is generally free for everyone. There are several kiosks along the beach line and they allow bringing in food to the beach. You can park your car next to the beach or inside the square near the Princess Hotel. The beach is open from 9am and closed in the evening.
