The Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum, located at the top floor of the Royal Garden Plaza just a few minutes’ drive from Pattaya Beach, was built after the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! TV show was received well by the public. The Ripley’s is actually a reproduction of the original 20th Century abandoned storage building of Grimsby and Streaper Casket Company. The spooky building filled with unexplained events, mysterious disappearances and frightening apparitions serves as the theme of the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.
The Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum contains 10 individually-themed galleries and over 300 amazing real exhibits and unique collections of odds and ends from all over the world. It’s an ideal destination for families, kids, group travelers and even those who wanted to fill every hour of their vacation with worthwhile activities. So, whatever it is you want to do: kill an hour of your time or entertain restless kids, visit the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. With all the “believe it or not” collections that it houses, it guarantees to keep the kids and the kids at heart amused for hours.
The bizarre objects in Ripley’s are organized into more than 250 categories. Some of those include optical illusions, human depravity, devices of human torture from ancient times, peculiar lifestyles of peculiar people and many others. The Museum is also divided into several sections: Ripley’s 4D Moving Theater, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, Ripley’s Infinity Maze and The Wax Hand Fun.
- The Ripley’s 4D Moving Theater. This is a simulator amusement ride. It uses a high-tech device that simulates a voyage with dinosaurs everywhere. It’s a thrilling ride especially for those who love something between a mind and body kind of entertainment.
- The Ripley’s Haunted Adventure. The Ripley’s Haunted House is not for the faint-hearted. The special effects coupled with scary live actors are all designed to make you shiver in fear. There are also several scary objects all professionally done to achieve that “genuine” effect. Some visitors swear it’s the scariest of all the scariest haunted houses they’ve ever been to. The kids will definitely love it!
- The Ripley’s Infinity Maze. The Infinity Maze is a 20-minute mirror maze trip that will challenge what you know about the reality. Along the trip, you will also encounter frightening objects that may add to the terrifying feeling of uncertainty.
- The Wax Hand Fun. As part of the Tussaud’s Wax Museum’s entertainment, where you’ll see objects made of wax, the Wax Hand Fun offers a chance for the visitors to try creating objects from wax using their own hands. It’s perfect for the kids!
Opening Hours: It is open from 11 AM to 9 PM every day. An entrance fee is required to enter the premises.
