The entire country of Malaysia is basically hot and humid, but never extremely hot. Throughout the year, average temperature is from 20°C to 30°C. Malaysia has tropical climate and this applies throughout the peninsula, including the popular historic city of Malacca. When visiting this part of Malaysia, just remember that what to wear in Malacca is practically dictated by the local weather.
Vacationers and travelers to Malacca will very quickly see that the only appropriate clothing in this Malay city are light clothes. For men, white cotton T-shirt, jeans, short pants, a baseball cap, sunglasses, and flip-flops, sandals or sneakers sound very cool; while for women, sleeveless tank top, skirts, 3/4 pants, sunglasses, shorts, and sandals seem appropriate.
