Found in Sanguem District, close to the Goa-Karnataka border, there lies the fifth highest waterfall in India, the Dudhsagar Waterfalls. It is a four-tiered waterfall at the high point of Mandovi River, just 10 kilometers upstream from the village of Collem. Dudshagar is situated in the heart of the 240-square-kilometer Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. With the apparent and abundant flora and fauna, the biodiversity in this area is considered one of the richest in the world.
Listed as one of the highest falls in the world, this waterfall takes a plunge down from an overwhelming height of 2000 feet. An aqueduct of South Central Railways passes through Dudhsagar.
