With a warm coastal atmosphere such as in Hualien, it is but expected for locals to find ways to help cool down their bodies from the heat and humidity of their environment. When water and bathing three times a day won’t do it anymore, many residents of Hualien head to the Hualien Ocean Park to cool down with marine friends who value water as much as they do.
The Hualien Ocean Park used to be called the Hualien Farglory Ocean Park and is the biggest man-made tourist attraction in Hualien and the country’s first marine ecology theme park. The county’s ocean park is just 10 kilometers away from the capital city making it very accessible to city dwellers.
